The method of relieving the pressure doesn't really work because the fuse also does the injection system. You could achieve the same effect by going under the back seat and disconnecting the main pump at the connector there, but you won't have that much fuel if you just wrap a rag around the joint you are separating. The LH2.4 system doesn't store that much volume under pressure.
Just be careful you have well fitting line wrenches or quality open end wrenches that fit, so you don't wind up bending any fragile fuel rail metal.
