Thanks for the replies everyone. Kind of dumb. I should have realized that the click was the indicator. I was just expecting the wrench to slip at the preset torque. I have the opposite problem with shops using impact wrences to put on my aluminum rims. They always put them on too loose. I should go around every time and check because I keep loosing nuts. Do you guys really use a torque wrench for spark plugs and lug nuts? I have never had any problems doing it by feel. I usually tighten spark plugs just enough to crush the washer. You can feel it crushing.
