Leaky injectors 140-160 1974

You're forgiven. I don't generally get involved with that pre-EFI stuff and leave it to people like you George, but I cut my teeth doing shadetree Volvo maintenance during the 15 years I had my '74 144GL with CIS. I sure respect the preference a lot of you have for those older tanks, er I mean sturdier and less complicated cars (I still miss my '66 122S even more than my 144), but you have to admit they didn't come with a whole lot of safety features and creature comforts. Yes, drive 'em like you hate 'em was a good motto for those years, but I think it's less true now. The new ECU's are programmed to sense abuse and will return their rath at the least opportune moment by taking out a relay or shooting themselves in the foot.
