Testing Cold Start Valve 200 1979

The Volvo CIS book jumps right to taking out the squirter. Should squirt for a few seconds depending on temp. With temps the way they are right now it should squirt between 1 and 2 seconds. If no squirt then let things cool off for a few minutes (want the thermo-time switch to cool) then hook up a meter or test light to the squirter terminals, crank and see if you got juice. If no juice then check thermo-time switch or wiring between it and squirter...
