Odd Electrical Issues... 200 1986

Sounds like that amp is sucking up so much current that the rest of the car starves.

The question is, why does the amp quit when the engine RPM drops below 2500?

If you disabled your amp (pull its main fuse, or whatever), do the lights and blower behave the same wrt RPM?

Do you have a voltmeter installed? Can you describe the voltage swings under these various conditions?
