rectangular airbox on B20 with HS6 carbs 120-130

thanks George...

< but the center to center distance was the same.>>
So can I just lay a 3 bolt carb/filter gasket over the airbox to locate the new holes?

<>
What else aside from the bolts holding airbox to carbs? It came with some oddball quasi circular plates with little, 90º tubes that were probably emission related. Looks like these plates go inside the airbox and should still be used to clamp box to carbs, no?

<<,,oilpan bolts with integral washers and 7/16" hex that
work really well for holding the airbox onto the carbs..>>
Did you use a separate washer to keep the bolts from chewing up the inside of the airbox? (see quasi circular plates above)

Did you run this setup year round or just summer use? Any noticable difference - steady idle in hot weather slow traffic?

Diagram in CVI shows some sort of reducer snout at the intake end - What's a good hose to use? flexible dryer duct, any idea for good matching ID hose welcome.
