Mirror Mirror on the dash 1800 1968

I'd like to know how to attach one of these mirrors since mine is missing. The previous owner of my 1800S removed the mirror when he installed a new dash cover and attached a mirror on the windshield (yes, like the ones american cars have)! Needless to say, I'd like to install an original dash mirror again as soon as I find one. I'll bet you are right, the screws/bolts are probably under the dash somewhere.
