I appreciate what you're saying, believe me . . . I work too hard on these cars to have to re-do.

We had a couple of threads on this about 2 weeks ago--it started when I found that the mount available at the Volvo dealership was IDENTICAL to a ScanTech mount that was shipped to me by "allOEM" as an OEM part--right down to the "GMB" and "Korea" on the bearing. FWIW, I passed on both of these, as I was still trying to find the "real OEM" (Boge).

I talked to IPD and found that they carry the SKFs, but that these are also marked "made in Korea."

I subsequently bought the MTC part from a friend at BAP/GEON. Box said "made in USA" but I'm now thinking that applies to the BOX only. The way things are going, MTC probably stands for "Malaysia Trading Co."

So, anyways, I was afraid it would turn out like this . . . but I thought that my post on this might save somebody else from making the same error.
