Engine swap 200 1982

Probably stating the obvious, but converting the carb'd car over to FI will involve a ton of work (tank, lines, 2 fuel pumps, all their wiring and relays, the engine computer, etc.) If the 1980 engine is sound, consider putting it into the 82 and retaining the 82 carb intake setup, ignition, etc.

Mike Harvey, a participant on this board, lives in Calgary and had a guy in Victoria (I think) rebuild his carb and was extremely pleased with the result. The Z-S is a good carb when working right, but a bit delicate and complex, and wears out after high mileage. The guys who really know how to fix them are few. Contact Mike at drharv@telusplanet.net for the carb guy's name.
