Trans 700 1990

In the US market, the 760 only came with an automatic. That would be the AW71 for all turbo cars. It's a 4-spd automatic.
If a manual transmission was offered elsewhere, as it was in US 740 and 740 Turbo models, the transmission would be the M46 (4spd + Overdrive).

Both of these are pretty much bulletproof transmissions and will only fail due to abuse or neglect. Swapping from one to the other will require a transmission, the addition or removal of the automatic trans cooler lines, changing the flywheel/flex plate, changing the pedals and adding or removing the hydraulic clutch master cylinder. It's not a small job.

There's a good story about the extent of a conversion in the 700/900 FAQ.
