Please tell me about this little pin that needs to be removed. Where is it and what does it look like? So, you are saying if they late circuit board is used on the early lens, and you remove the little pin, they will work, correct? Also, when you say "the socket is different", do you mean the bulb holder itself, or the hole in which the bulb holder fits into on the back of the unit?
