Poor acceleration! 700 1985

A quick and easy check on a non-turbo car is the air induction hose running from the air mass meter to the throttle body. I had one soften up from oil and heat and under acceleration, the vacuum created would collapse the hose, choking off the engine. Got a used one at the breakers for about 25 USD.
