I dont know how to describe this problem 700

Black box could be the amp unit for the stereo. If the box has 2 bolts attached to it about 1" apart, then it is those 2 bolts that hook into a metal plate. Then the bolts can be tightened and used to sandwich the plate between the bolt and amp to keep everything in place under the steering column.
