Major headache with 92 740.

I am at the point were I'd like this nightmare to move on. I bought a 92 740 a few months ago and after 2 weeks I had an overheat that blew the headgasket. I have since become a full time grad student and I don't have the time to finish the project. I have the head off for a valve job. Any suggestions? Do junk yards buy cars? This is a turbo wagon with 108K-new turbo and cooling system-tons of new parts. Should I part it out? I have 1600 invested plus the boxes of parts I have bought from FCP groton.

Please, any suggestions welcome.
