240 bypassing the idiot bulb out idiot light???

I have not pulled a trailer much with our Volvos (we have two with hitches and trailer wiring), but I have not experienced any trouble. If you feel compelled to bypass the Lamp Failure Relay, why don't you remove the cover from an extra relay and do your bypassing within the relay itself. A wiring diagram is being sent to your email. If you need a Lamp Failure Relay, let me know and I can mail you one.
