Observations on monitoring the ECT 200 1993

Dan - thanks for the comments. I am familiar with how the ECT functions. I was doing this as a learning experience as I'm thinking about making a breakout box and maybe a datalogging device (if I can figure out how to do the A/D conversion). I don't probe random terminals, only those whose function I know and for which the resistances are published in the Volvo fuel injection manual and Bentley, so when you say not to connect an Ohmmeter to the ECU it makes me wonder why these manuals use that method as a diagnostic tool. IT was my understanding that a good DVOM wouldn't damage a circuit due its low voltage (as opposed to an analog meter).
