Sunroof 700 1990

Same thing happening in my 91 744. Smack the side that is down. It is stuck and will pop up. Check the recent posts. A fellow brickster was having the problem and it was linked to a loose or missing screw that held in the crank mechanism. Check that out as well before you try sliding back the roof. I was unaware of the fix, and scraped the paint on the sunroof as it did not drop straight for sliding open and busted the gizmo that lowers the roof for sliding in the process.
