Help! Power window switch! 200 1989

The black rocker switch is what I got out, but I thought that I broke it when I took it out because there were two pieces of black plastic hanging down (that looked they had originally been connected but were now torn apart. I think I got everything back in their places when I went back out to try again, but the switch does not want to stay "in" its place. It's really loose and can easily rock out of position. Does it just snap back in?
