Muffler and headlights 700 1989

Rear muffle is a pain in the a** to remove because of the rust and corrosion that you already see. If you don't have a lift, you're going to hate trying to tackle that job because you will be banging away at the thing for a long time. Usually, the hardest part of the job is the removal of the rear muffler from the axle pipe that goes from your front muffler over the axle. I was unable to remove it and ended up bringing it to my mechanic who was nice enough to cut the thing off carefully (didn't damage the axle pipe at all!) for $5.

If you really want to try this anyway, get lots of PBlaster and be prepared to get really dirty from the rust breaking off on top of you. You'll probably want goggles and a facemask or something. :)
