Shag,

I sent you a private e-mail with the R&R procedure for the PNP sensor. You don't need special tools, (but there is one available for the alignment process for about $25) but it's not absolutely necessary. It will take a few hours. It's a pain in the butt to do but you can do it. Dealers typically charge anywhere from $300-475 for this repair. A few hours of labor and a $100-120 part and your good to go.
