Now you have me curious. S90-V90 1998

Have read over the All Data section. It is somewhat incomplete on this subject. It mentions cycling only in reference to the pressostat sensing low suction pressure below 26psi to cut out the compressor but does not say if this is part of the normal operating process or just a way to turn off the compressor when pressure drops (ie loss of freon). No mention is made anywhere of the ECC unit ever turning the compressor off and on automatically to regulate cabin temp. It does say that servo motor controlled shutter is a way to accurately and rapidly control cabin temp.

So now you have me very curious about how the system is supposed to work. I am going to research this further. If indeed the compressor is supposed to cycle under control of the pressotat then that may mean I have an overcharge.

Will post as I find out more.
