4 wheel alignment on a 245? Did I get ripped off?

In my opinion, yes. Some shops sell what is called a "Thrust angle alignement" for rear wheel drive cars. I take my car to the best alignment shop (and that is all they do), and all they tell me that our 740s need is a two wheel alignment.

Your 240 has no adjustments for rear wheel alignment.
