Sound like my pulley has slipped on the hub.

If I hooked up a sparkplug to #1 with the key on and turned over the motor with a wrench until a spark occurred, would that indicate #1 TDC since from what I understand the ECU determines crank position by the sensor on the flywheel?
Is the proper firing order 1 3 4 2 ?
