Dropping out of OD, what to do????? 200

Depends upon whether you have an automatic or manual trans and what the dash light does when the OD drops out.

Automatic trans: yellow arrow comes on, resolder relay. Yellow light stays off, find the loose or broken white wire to the solenoid and repair.

Manual trans: green light stays on, clean and tighten the connections on the solenoid. Green light goes off, check the red wire from the 4th gear switch to the solenoid and verify the 4th gear switch is staying in contact while the lever flops around during driving.

Other cause for manual tran e-mail me for trouble shooting tip sheet. Automatic trans I have no more info on than what is above.
