Drivability Problem 700 1986

This can be a symptom of the Hall effect connector having broken loose from the distributor and hanging by it's wires. When you hit a bump, one of the three little wires may short to the distributor base and the engine will miss. I have had first hand experience with this.

Feel at thge bottom of the distributor. If the Hall effect connector is loose and hanging by it's wires, go to the 700/900 FAQ and look up distributor repair.
