Chris,
Wow, thanks for all of the info. My gut feeling, though, is that in the end we'll have a new compressor put in. I wish I were a guy who was going to go pull an old clutch out of a junkyard, then put it on myself. I'm just not. And, occasionally, I have to pay the price for not being able to do it myself. At least it is good to know that their diagnosis of the problem was probably right on.
