Differance between a B20E and B20F engine 140-160

A '72 would have a B20F -- B20E was '70 and '71 only in North American export versions.

The only difference is the head -- bottom ends are identical. Look at the center head bolt on the right side of the valve cover. If it's sitting up on its own little flat island, it's an E head. If the island extends to next bolt forward, it's an F head.

There's not a night-and-day performance difference between them, and the E requires the very best gas you can find while the F runs on regular. Be careful what you wish for...
