Yes a new cartridge should cure your ails. If you have some mechanical ability replacing a cartridge is not that difficult. Avoid seperating the wastegate housing from the exhaust manifold and you should not have to replace those bolts holding the two together. Shop around at some turbo rebuilders for prices better than I Pay Dearly.
