Checking spark?

Ground the threaded part of the plug to the head and crank. If you hold it by the wire and do not touch the car with any other part of your body, you shouldnt get zapped. Or you could use some insulated pliers. I attached a large alligator clip to the base of a plug with a hose clamp. Just clip it to a valve cover nut or exaust stud. And make sure there are no flamable liquids or vapors when testing.
