boat weight estimate

The maximum trailer weight (trailer + load) allowed for the 940 is 1600 kg in my country (Norway). With the reinforcement kit (#6820174) installed, this is increased to 1800 kg.

A Boston Whaler 22' Dauntless weighs 1340 kg with the largest outboard allowed (perhaps inboards are lighter, but I doubt it). Add to that the typical weight of a two-axle boattrailer w/brakes for boats of this size, 330 kg, and you have a total of 1670 kg. Given that my calculations are correct, you need the reinforcement kit. But I'd say you're over the limit of comfortable travelling if this is a longer distance than just getting the thing down to the water.

Then there are of course lighter 21-22' boats around than the Dauntless, this was just an example.
Happy boating!

Erling.
