Y'know, I have no idea where people came up with the idea that cutting a spring makes 'em stiffer and handle better. For all that I've learned, it's the wire, the wire diameter, and coil spacing that determines the spring rate. Cutting stock springs only makes 'em shorter and bottom out easier.
Anyways, if you're in for handling, invest in iPd bars, wider tires, and new shocks and bushings.
