B230FT Timing

I replaced the distributer with a known working one as well as a known working rotor, cap, and coil. The distributer cap (new) that was on the 92 745 had a giant crack in it. Apparently I tightened it too hard and the shell around one of the mounting points shattered the shell. I replaced it and it still doesn't start. I will test the fuel injectors according to the FAQ tomorrow. It doesn't look good. If it isn't the injectors I am totally stumped but since starter fluid won't start it, who knows. Any help/suggestions are certainly welcome.
