Driver side mirror replacement 200 1989

I need a reaplacement for the mirror on the driver's side. I don't need a full mirror assembly, just the glass, or plastic, or whatever it was I just took off. My car failed the state inspection today because the mirror was full of scratches.

I wound up peeling the mirror the back plate. It was a piece of polished mirror like plastic, with an adhesive backing that was stuck to the adjustable back plate. The rest of the assemmbly is in primo condition, and I really don't want to go the junkyard route.

Can anybody suggest a source for the stick on replacement?
