I paint my engines first with Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer (they aren't rusty)
and then follow with Rustoleum's bright red. I think it may be Regal Red or
some such. Anyway for a whole engine it is certainly close enough, and very
durable and handy. If you can let it dry in the sun on a hot day, so much the
better.
