Depends on whom you ask.

1984 was the last "official" year the 242 was sold in the US.

A small few leftover chassis received the '85 B230F, and were titled as 1985 models. They were given to VCNA regional reps and service trainers. Eventually, they were sold as used cars. I have seen precisely one.

Even after '85, a few cars were built on the 242 chassis for Group A racing.
