You've got a good V6 - no need to burn this one.

I am by no means an expert on the B280, so I don't know the maintenance interval for valve lash, but there are simple screw adjusters available to you right under the valve covers. Valve adjustments are so simple on this engine (once you get the AC compressor off the valve cover, that is...)
