One more reason to hate Scan Tech 200

There were two manufacturers (Yazaki and VDO) for the 240 instrument clusters. At least with the "new" dashboard clusters, lots of stuff wasn't interchangeable. This might apply to your model, too - check with Scantech if the speedo cable fitting is manufacturer dependent.
