Dumb Electrical/Charging System Question 700

On the back of your alternator there should be a white or black plastic cap with 2 screws or bolts on it. This is the regulator/brush assembly. Pull it out and have a look at your brushes. I suspect they are badly worn causing a weak charge...........the same thing happened on my 780. Hope this helps.
