Weird squealing 200 1983

"My baby makes a weird squealing sound when the accelerator is pressed half way,"
See if you can duplicate the sound while under the hood and reving the engine with the throttle pulley.

If you isolate it to the carb, it could be air intake sound. Remove the part connected to the carb to check suction piston movement.
