Hello.
Thank you all for your sugestions. My car has a pierburg 2B5 carburettor and what I should of said is that I would like to improve the accelaration from a standstill as in first and second gear it is quite slow. Once it gets up to speed it can easily do over 100 Mph. If I replaced the carburettor how much more HP would I get? I mostly drive in the city. What other simple things could I do myself as I am not a experiensed mechanic, just a beginner. Of course I would buy a 850 T5 if I had the funds and could afford the insurance. At the end of the day having more accelaration would be nice but not essential as it is still quicker than my previous 1.4 litre volvo 340GL. Thanks James.
