So what's wrong with letting him walk?

I find that when my lazy nature takes over my need to fix something, walking or talking the bus to work or school works just fine. It's enough of a tedious chore that I'll usually fix the thing on my next free day.

If walking doesn't work, resign yourself to driving him to school in your wife's clothing. Make sure to get out of the car and give him a big hug, wave after him, and yell something supportive and loving.

Pick and choose your battles, sure. But you might as well have fun with it.
