Overdrive relay question, my problem is solved! 200 1984

Thanks, I was looking all over for that relay, and had actually taken apart the
wrong one. Things make alot more sense with the correct relay in hand.

I haven't gotten around to resoldering my overdrive relay yet but, the
major problem with my dead overdrive is solved. I was so very relieved to find
that the power wire that goes from the overdrive solenoid to the relay was
broken. The insulation around the wire was almost gone, which explains the
flakiness before the death. I found a replacement wire in my back yard,
Good thing the people that lived at my house before me were gear heads.
Another problem I found was that the wire connected to the button on the
gear shifter was almost disconnected, which added more flakiness.
