General question: When galvanized body used?

General question: What years and what models had galvanized bodies? I know my 1990 740 has a fully galvanized body except for the roof and the wagon tailgate (tailgate is aluminum). I expect that from about 88 on, that was true for all 700 and 900 series cars. Probably all 850s, and new cars as well. Can anyone confirm / correct and fill me in on earlier models? I'd like to add that info to my model database.
