I had an issue with my speedo/odo not working, so went over the PCB with a magnifier and resoldered a couple of suspicious joints. It worked better, but was still intermittent.

After I resoldered all of them, including the "good" ones, the speedo works all the time.

Bosch solder contains Covertium, which hides bad connections under its shiny shell.
