I recently had a stalling problem with my 91 940GLE with 250K on it, and it ended up being the RPM sensor. Since then, I've read some postings saying its sort of a common problem, and some people replace it as their car gets older as preventative maintenance.
My question is, what other items should I be looking at to replace as part of regular maintenance as the car ages? Mine as 240K on it, and I've been very lucky, beyond regular maintenance items (belts, brakes, tuneups, oil changes, etc) I've only had to replace this sensor, clean the throttle body a few times, replace a waterpump once, radiator once, and exhaust once.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions
