Timing Belt & Lambda light 200 1984

Again this is from my experience with an '83 and is something I have not done for nearly 20 years, but I recall a plastic cover about 1" x 1/2" in size covering an enclosure which has a mechanical "pin" that resets the light. All this is located and accessed from behind the instrument panel. I believe the cover is held on by one screw. Just push in on the mechanical reset pin. I recall disabling future lighting of the light by removing the "speedometer-like" cable that terminates at the enclosure mentioned above. Wish my memory was better. Hope this helps.
