Thanks much for the reply, Rob-

I went to Crutchfield's Website and didn't see anything that looks quite right.

The top one, lower console, for my 80 looks easy enough to fab at home... but the second one, 700/900 83+, doesn't look right. The face on the stock stereo is recessed into the surround, and the stereo face and surround outer edge are at different angles. The same as your 88 740, you know?

Are these images different than what you got?
