No special tools.

Common pitfall is the mounting nuts (inside the engine compartment) corroded/seized to the studs, such that trying to remove them merely spins the stud in its plastic anchor-then you're SOL. Hit the nuts with penetrating oil a couple times in advance (P'Blaster, Kroil, etc.)
