Aurgh! When it rains it pours...first a clever vandal takes out my rear wiper, then I lose power steering fluid. In the past few weeks I had noticed a different pitch to the sound of the car underway that changed slightly during acceleratioon. Then on Saterday, the noise when turning began, classic signs of low fluid. Indeed the reservoir was about empty. Can't say how long this has been losing fluid; it's the first I lloked at (I know, I know..) Have not seen any evidence of fluid loss, but then I haven't paid much attention to ti, either.

Heading to Illinois to see the grandkids, so my Volvo mechanic/friend will take a peek. Hoping it's a bad hose, but I don't see any thing on the top end...I don't even want to know what this is going to cost me. I've never replaced a rack before.
