The lead from the radio to the amp is a round din, usually black, cable. Plugs into a 6-pin socket in the back of the radio. If it's there, you can follow it to the amp. It may be tied in with a wiring harness connecting the radio and amp to the vehicle main harness. Depending on which head unit you have and the number of speakers, you may not have an external amp.
Is the harness plug on the back of your radio 9-pin or 14-pin? Either way, you can buy from Scosche, Metra, Crutchfield's, et al., a plug with labelled wires which will connect to your factory harness (skipping the entire amp-radio harness) and save you some sweat under the dashboard. About $10
